On intrigue...
It is such an interesting word when you consider that as a verb it’s such a postive: To arouse the curiousity or interest of; fascinate.
As a noun however, quite the opposite: The secret planning of something illicit or detrimental to someone.
There is something to be learned from this.

Philosophically speaking...
If you were perfectly content with everything in your life you would soon find the monotony of satisfaction to be frustrating.
We all must always have things for which we strive.

On service...
It can be the littlest thing that goes undone but not unnoticed, especially in a BDSM relationship.
Be diligent.
Philosophically speaking...
While subtle gestures of caring are always appreciated when noticed, one shouldn’t be afraid to express their feelings outloud.
If they’re true and genuine just the expression of them will be pleasing.

On structure...
The structure of anything is its support system allowing the thing to exist and stay in place. It is no different in a D/s relationship.
Provide a sturdy structure and you can build anything you wish around it.

Philosophically speaking...
It is very often the case, particularly in terms of BDSM, that what we fear is not the thing itself but rather the idea that we will be so drawn to something when it has been tried and the fear of not knowing has been removed.
Craving and fearing are two sides of the same coin and that is why being on the edge of that coin is so incredibly arousing.

A good Dominant should appreciate the service of their submissive as much as their submissive does.
If she gives 110% for you, you have no excuse not to do the same.

On change...
Change is inevitable of course but it it is always better to try and not repeat the same set of changes over and over.
Move forward, not in circles.

On chance...
Chance is a funny thing especially when you consider that there are probably literally thousands of people with whom you can make a connection in this world.
It all comes down to chance. The chance to meet and explore and find out about people.
Are you someone who takes your chances or do you ignore them out of fear, or shyness, or just plain disbelief in the opportunity?
Take your chances.

Experiencing something emotionally powerful can be as frightening as it can be exciting.
Don’t be afraid to let yourself feel it, however.

On BDSM...
People who are into BDSM can be so cliquish and clannish about this “magical realm” they feel they’ve entered.
Seriously?
Put down the Harry Potter wand of spanking and realize that it doesn’t make you any more cool or unique than anyone else that this is something that interests you.
Figure out what works for you and, as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else, enjoy...
